Homeless Services Case Manager Training

This 10-module, in-depth program is for case managers and housing navigators that are new, relatively new, need to learn new techniques and approaches, or are case managers in Dept. of Health Services’ Housing for Health program. Each module includes self-directed learning and one in-person session each month. The training includes core functions, effective practices, data and documentation, standards of excellence, housing, benefits acquisition, mental and physical health, substance abuse, thriving in community and other topics needed for effective case management. Trainers are leaders from homeless services agencies across Los Angeles County. Cohorts are limited to 25 participants so that there is plenty of opportunity for participant practice of new skills.

Cost: $1150
includes 10 full-day sessions, materials, lunch, and meeting expenses. Payment is due prior to the commencement of the Cohort.
